The channel sales processes require partners to have extensive access to exact product and pricing information to navigate complex sales processes.


However, Vendor CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) systems are often not extended to the channel meaningfully. This limitation of Vendor CPQ systems stems from the fact that the CPQ systems are often built on top of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems.


However, these CRM (and hence the CPQ) systems only scale within a single organization and are not easily extendable to other channel organizations due to architectural and cost limitations.
